Air India's A320neo Business Class: A Mixed Experience in the Skies
I recently had the pleasure of flying Air India's A320neo business class from Delhi to Kuala Lumpur, a journey of over five hours. Having previously experienced their A350-900 business class, I was curious to see how their regional offering compared.
The A320neo Business Class Cabin:
The business class cabin is an intimate affair, featuring just eight seats in a 2-2 configuration. These seats are a familiar sight, resembling those found on American and other airlines, and are the Collins Aerospace MiQ product. While not the most luxurious, they offer a decent amount of comfort with 40" of pitch, 20" of width, and a six-way adjustable headrest.
Entertainment and Connectivity:
Here's where it gets controversial. Air India has opted for a minimalist approach to in-flight entertainment, with no seat-back screens. Instead, they offer streaming entertainment, which is a nice touch. However, the absence of Wi-Fi on a flight of this duration is a significant drawback, especially for those who rely on connectivity for work or entertainment.
